When I compose an email and get so far down the page it disappears, what is my problem?

When I compose an email and get so far down the page it disappears, what is my problem?
Any kind of composition that is going to take time to prepare should NOT be done directly in the online window. As you've discovered, the web pages are not stable enough all the time to consider them reliable. It is better to compose your long message on something like Notepad or MS-Word, then copy it to the Compose window when you're ready.
