Go back to the Classic Yahoo. The new one sucks. They are still trying to get all the kinks out. I'm going to try the new one in a few weeks after it has been improved; because if you go to the feedback menu under Help on your bar tool, you will see many Yahoo users with too many complaints and questions of the new version.
How do you compose and send email now on yahoo?
hate the new yahoo e-mail....how do i switch back to older version.. thanks. rex Report Abuse
Reply:Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account at http://mail.yahoo.com with your User ID and password. On the page that opens, find the "Compose" button in the upper-left corner. Click it and send email to any valid email address.
* Who are you writing to? Type their address in the "To:" field. To send your message to more than one person, add additional email addresses and separate them with commas (e.g., johndoe@yahoo.com, janedoe@yahoo.com, etc.).
* Add an entry in the "Cc:" field for anyone to whom you'd like to send a copy of your message. Others receiving your message will be able to see that the person in the Cc: line has received a copy of the message.
* If you want to send a copy of your message to someone, but not let anyone else see that they're getting a copy, click the "Show BCC" link to the right of the "To:" field. Enter the email addresses of anyone to whom you'd like to send this "blind carbon copy (Bcc)" of your message. Bcc: recipients are invisible to the To: and Cc: recipients of the message as well as to each other. (For example, if you send a message to johndoe@yahoo.com with a Bcc: to janedoe@yahoo.com, then johndoe sees himself as the message's only recipient, while janedoe sees that you have also sent the message To: johndoe.)
* In the "Subject" field, enter the subject of your message.
* Use the large text box to type your message.
* Spell-check your email by clicking the "Check Spelling" button in the toolbar at the top of the Compose window.
To attach a file to your message, click the "Attach" button in the toolbar at the top of the Compose window. In the window that opens, click "Browse" to find and select the file you want. When you've got it, click the "Attach" button to attach it to your message. Repeat these steps to attach more files, and when you're finished, click "OK."
* Click "Send" to send your message. Nice work!
Mail Plus offers bigger attachment limits, more Inbox memory and sends and retrieves emails from your other email accounts. Check it out!
