Once when composing email i could just type the first letter of the person and it would insert my options?
Are you saying it no longer does this? If you're using an email program installed on your computer (Thunderbird, Outlook, Eudora, etc), you want to check your auto-complete options in the program's settings - often under composition or addressing.
If this is a web based email like HotMail or Yahoo Mail, it could be because you have disabled (accidentally or on purpose) Java Scripts in your browser.
It could also be related to the bandwidth of your internet connection. I know when I do a Google search at home, it starts to show options as I type. But at work I have a slower connection and this doesn't always work.
Reply:yes this used to happen but today it has stopped this function . is it a yahoo fault? my contacts still do not appear automatically
