How do I keep from being timed out when composing an email message?

While composing a message on email, time expires and I have to start from beginning. How do I extend the time while composing?

How do I keep from being timed out when composing an email message?
To avoid the whole time-out thing, you might be better to compose your message in Notepad (on your computer) rather than directly in the Compose window. Internet technology might be good, but it isn't good enough for reliable, continuous connection to sites. As a result, I continue to compose most of my messages offline, then copy-paste them into the Compose window when I'm ready.
