I am not able to compose an email. It will not allow me to type a message. I can enter address and subject?

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

You may possibly have a corrupt cache file -- it makes all KINDS of things go wonky. Try this: clear your history, temporary files (these will take a while.) %26amp; cookies, restart the computer and retry. Here is the HELP link for how to do this in different browsers: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya...

Also, be sure you have the latest JAVA downloaded and scripting enabled.
Reply:I am having the same problem. If you get a good answer, please email it to me at kheussner@yahoo.com. Thanks.
Reply:I am having the same problem, but here is the catch. I can open Firefox and access my email and have no problems composing the email, but when I open my internet explorer I can't type a message. It only allows me to put in the address and subject. When you find an answer please pass on the secret that helped fix the problem.
