Need help. unable to forward or compose new email messages?

I don't know what happened. I was trying to forward a message %26amp; I can click on send but the message want forward. I tried to type a new message %26amp; I am unable to type a single character.

Are you using the latest version of Internet Explorer? The html editing tool used by Yahoo! Mail is not compatible with all browsers. However, you can get around this by switching to plain text mode as described in the link below.

It means your Compose page has not fully loaded. Press F5 to force the page to reload. You might have to try this a few times before it will finally work.

Sounds like you need to switch to "plain text" mode for composing messages. You can do this by clicking the "Options" link in the upper right corner of Yahoo Mail, then click the "General Preferences" link and choose the "plain text" option for Composing Emails. Finally click the "Save" button.
Reply:Just Logout and re-login. if the problem persists u can report the problem to yahoo and it will be done witin 24hrs.

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete mail at the moment. I was advised to uninstall Javascript and then reinstall the latest version. This worked for me. If it does not for you then apparently it's only in the all new version. Try returning to the Classic version for now. I am also told that the mail is in fact there in your box and is being sent. It's simply invisible in all new mail. If you're using the original Classic Mail:


Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;scroll to and click on "general preferences". Now go down to *Composing Emails* and check the button by ---"compose with color and graphics"-----then click "save" at bottom of page.





If you're using the New Mail or updated version of Classic----there is a link on the composing page----"Rich Text or Plain Text"----that will enable or disable that bar.

I was composing an email, clicked back to my inbox,then back to compose and it was gone how do I get it back?

Once you leave the compose page anything you had typed is gone because there is no save option. Its the same as if you had been disconnected it just disappears. Sorry.


Where does composed email go & how can I retrieve it once I've moved it into my email drafts folder?

On Yahoo mail, the folders are in the pane on the left side of the


screen. Mine is just under my "Inbox' folder. It should tell you how


many drafts are in it also. But sometimes when I move a composed letter to the draft folder it just dissapears into thin air. Sometimes it


shows up there after I go out of mail and come back in.

is your control button not working right? or are you trying to copy with your mouse? highlight the selected area and press Control - C. that is the command to copy. Control - X is the command to cut. Control - V is the command to paste. if you're unable to cut/copy/paste with the commands or your mouse the selected area may be encrypted to not allow the user to copy/cut.

Reply:They should be available. Are you familiar with yahoo. There's a picture of a smiley on the tool bar that has italics, bold font, ect. If you click on it, it gives you emoticons, if you don't have it i guess you'll have to copy and paste from other locations.

You may possibly have a corrupt cache file -- it makes all KINDS of things go wonky.
