When I click on the tool bar for font, color, size...nothing happens..
Hows come I cant get the "color" or "size" options ect to work on my Yahoo email compose page?
you have to click on it, then type to make it work, or highlight the text you want to format, than change the size etc
i know this seems a bit obvious, but you would be surprised at the amount of daft mistakes some of my colleagues call me with

I use caps because i can see it better? why can't i stay on my yahoo when i compose a email?
i SIGNED UP FOR MY YAHOO I REALLY LIKE IT IT HAS CHANGE OF PATTERENS AND COLORS AND I JUST LIKE THE WHOLE OPTION OF BEING ABLE TO CHANGE THE SCREEN. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND WHEN I CHECK MY EMAIL AND RESPOND IT GOES BACK TO THE OLD YAHOO MAIL SCREEN. HOW DO I GET THE MY YAHOO TO REMAIN THE SAME WHEN I COMPOSE AND EMAIL?
I use caps because i can see it better? why can't i stay on my yahoo when i compose a email?
You moved from your home page to mail page. Just go back to homepage.
Reply:Using all CAPS is considered VERY impolite.
Write it in Word then make a case change before pasting it into email or yahoo.
Also, lower case is much easier to read!
Try to increase the font size but use lower case.

Why is my email not displaying the messages or allowing me to compose a message (since yesterday)?
The message area is totally blank. I don't know how you will be able to contact me via email, as I cannot open messages!

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.
Reply:Has not happened to me. But is happening to alot of people. Might be regional. I do wish people would say where they are. There could be local server failure.
However, most likely you need to update Java, Adobe Flash Player and Quicktime.
I do use Firefox Mozilla which seems to avoid most of these issues, although it might just be because I have the recent updates. Even at that I recently could not get yahoo videos, but updating the Flash Player fixed that.
Reply:I have the same problem. And, I can't figure out how to get help. Do I need to create a new account? That seems difficult to me. Hope some one can help me. I can open the message in the print window mode.

Reply:I'm having the same problem, I wonder when it will get fixed?

When I go to compose an email I can't get my contact list to open?
It will be there right above the To box as "insert addresses" ; click it.

Check the boxes (TO, CC or BCC) next to the contacts your wish to send to, go to the top of the list and click on "Insert Checked Contacts."
