Why can't I compose a new email?

Using MAC OS-10 my compose button takes me back to the start page for Yahoo mail. I have turned my computer off to reset it and this still happens. I can reply to and forward other emails, just not compose new ones. What is going on and how do I resolve this.?

Hey, I just wanted to say that I am having this same problem too, except I also can't even REPLY to previous emails. This problem just began 2 days ago. If I figure out an answer I will share it with you! It is extremely annoying!

I need to be able to contact numerous clients that I don't necessarily want to add to my contacts/address book. I have worked in other email programs that once you start typing in an address, it does "auto-fill". Is there a way to do this with Yahoo?

No, Yahoo only autofills from your contact list.

I downloaded Explorer 7, when I compose an email on yahoo it does not automatically type in the address why?

I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox and all I can say is wow.





I don't know anything about IE7 but Firefox loads pages quicker than IE6

Don't know about that. Just get Mozilla Firefox, it's much better than explorer.

No option of "from" when I compose an email?

I have a problem with my mailbox i'e when I compose the message(email) I don't have the field named "from" on my inbox? My friend has this option but I don't. Help please

I`ve never had a from box. You really don`t need it. Yahoo knows who sent the email message.


Must be something new. Not all accounts are synchronized at the same time.

The message was never sent and the remains of the email are no where to be found. At least, I can't find them.

if you were using an online email client like yahoo, do not close the browser window!





restore your connection, then use the browser "back" function

Reply:I don't think it's possible to recover. If it was short it should be easy enough to remember and try again. If It's a long email then take the advice of "auntchryse".

When I'm in a situation where I have a time limit on email, I write the message in MS Word, then copy and paste into the email message. This way, if the connection expires, I have the content on the screen in a Word window. I can reconnect, copy and paste, then send.

When I type an email letters are missed as if my keyboard is faulty but this problem only occurs when composing an email in my yahoo.co.uk email address. For all other functions the keyboard works fine. It is as if yahoo mail is really slow. Any suggestions on how I can resolve?

I do not have this problem in Yahoo Classic email...just new Yahoo mail sometimes I just switch back to classic for a while and then go back into the new version and it seems a little better.
Reply:You answered your own question. It's as if Yahoo mail is slow. It is type slowly and give it a chance to catch up. Works for me.

How do i write a letter with out using email compose?

Are you trying to write an e-mail or what? If you want to snail mail it write it on Word Perfect, copy and mail.
