Clear your browsers cashe.
In Internet Explorer, click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
On the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete.
Click Delete files, and then click Yes.
Click Close, and then click OK.

My Yahoo! Mail wont let me compose an email. It says Error on Page?
My Yahoo! Mail lets me check my mail and everything else, but it wont let me compose an email. On the bottom of the page, it says Error On Page, and i dont know why. What can i do to fix the problem?

Yahoo has been acting really strangely lately. Its been slow and the internet traffic is making it crash. Just try again in a few hours. It might get better.
Reply:click on the start button and click shutdown. turn your computer completely off and back on again to reset everything. then turn it back on again by pushing the button. this fixes many online and offline problems. if this doesn't help then wait a while til yahoo fixes the problem

Yahoo Email Compose buttons - DO NOTHING?
Go to create an email, when ready to send email click on SEND button and nothing happens. Same result if I click on any of the other available buttons, SAVE AS DRAFT, SPELL CHECK and CANCEL. Does not matter what browser I use, have tried IE, Firefox and Netscape.

Same problem. I think it would be wise to use hotmail or gmail from now on. Sometimes when I try to forward mail or use the 'reply' function nothing happens, it is so frustrating, can keep on trying six hours and NOTHING happens. Then I have to start all over again, I am not impressed.

on my yahoo e-mail account, when i try to "compose" a new message, all that happens is that the window reverts to the main mail page?

Give it some time, your connection is probly slow right now, try again in a few minutes.
Reply:Yahoo is making changes again. They are connecting various yahoo services to streamline or so they say, particularly regarding our profiles. Also, if someone doesn't have a 360 profile picture or an avatar showing they will see a grey silhouette in place of the photo/avatar.
Mine is up and going better now. I hope yours is as well.

Anyone else having trouble with their Yahoo mail? If I compose an email using a nickname,?
it says there is an error and the nickname is not found. I've been using these nicknames for years and just as of this week and am having problems. I can go to my address book and select these individuals and it works. Any ideas?

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. When you find an answer please pass on the secret that helped fix the problem.

the only way i am able to preform any of these functions is through the "classic yahoo" mail version and that's if the updated version allows me to change to the classic version.

Most email problems are due to your own computer. You may have the security level set too high, are missing updates, or you have incompatible add-ons. If you can't solve it then go back to Classic email.
Click on "Mail Classic" at the top of the email screen. If you are not able to then try this link.
